Project Summary

The vision for this mural is to allow students of Washington Elementary to grow with, get inspiration from and create memories as they continue to learn and grow alongside a mural from the perspective of an SAUSD alumna and Santa Ana local. To bring it full circle and to return to SAUSD as a professional artist, it would be amazing to share what I have learned since graduating and bring a refreshing stylistic take on modern art. The proposed mural is a culmination of the visual surroundings the Santa Ana local might see, in combination of the power of imagination and reading. I hope to inspire children to dream big and to also appreciate one’s roots with this mural.
